CoFoundHub V1 is Live

For the last two years I’ve been reading other people’s build in public journeys. I loved seeing how they went from idea to product, one step at a time. At some point, I knew I wanted to try it myself.

This summer, I coded from my van, chasing waves and combining my two passions: surfing and building. Out of that mix came an idea that’s been stuck in my head for months:

What if finding someone who truly wants to build with you was actually easy?

The Problem

Finding a cofounder is hard.

Sure, you can network at events, post in Slack groups, or scroll endlessly on LinkedIn. But most of the time, you meet people who are “interested in startups” rather than people who are ready to roll up their sleeves and build something real.

I’ve seen this first-hand: what you really need is someone who’s as committed as you are. Someone who will show up every day, push through the boring parts, and care about the project as much as you do.

Why I Built CoFoundHub

That’s why I started building CoFoundHub — a place for makers and dreamers to find their building partner. The goal is simple: help people find the right partner so they can launch faster and go further.

This is V1. It’s minimal. But it works:

  • You can sign up in less than a minute.

  • You can browse people by role, location, and commitment level.

  • You can send a message right away to see if you click.

What’s Next

I’ll be honest: right now there aren’t any users yet. But that’s the beauty of building in public — I get to share the journey from the very beginning.

Next on my list:

  • Thinking about adding analytics to understand how people use it

  • Experimenting with a Hinge-like matching algorithm to go beyond keywords

  • Polishing the little things that make the experience smoother

But more than features, what matters now are the first curious people who sign up, try it, and tell me what works (and what doesn’t).

Try It Out

If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I had someone to build this with,” this is for you.

Sign up at cofoundhub.com in under a minute and be one of the first to try it.

Your cofounder might be waiting.
